Donate to Our Chapter

Each year, between 140 and 160 officers are killed nationally in the line of duty and their families and co-workers are left to cope with the tragic loss. National C.O.P.S. and local chapters provide resources to help them rebuild their shattered lives.

There is no fee to join C.O.P.S. – the price paid is already too high.

The Washington, DC Chapter of C.O.P.S. (DC-C.O.P.S.) relies primarily on donations from supportive organizations, businesses, and individuals. Any amount is appreciated. We simply could not do the work we do without your support.

We are a tax exempt 501(c)(3) charity {EIN: 52-2203759}. All Board members are volunteers and survivors (e.g., parents, spouses, co-workers, siblings, adult children, significant others, etc.) and receive no salary.
